Annual meeting with the Author’s union

Things are moving so fast this spring with work, moving, new engagements, whilst still finishing off old ones and life in general that I almost cannot find the time to record events, never mind writing. This weekend was the annual meeting of the Author’s union.

Some 170 writers, not only haiku writers (in fact, I think there were only two of us) gathered in Malmö, which is unusual as we normally meet in Stockholm.

During the seminar on digitalisation, CEO of Vertigo publishing, Alexandra Nedstam (top right hand image), said that we need to find new ways of distribution, mentioning haiku in your smartphone as one idea.

It is not often that haiku is mentioned in the public debate and I was very grateful to her for doing so.
