Honourable mention in the 70th Basho Memorial Haiku Contest

I was proud and very honoured that one of my haiku were given an honourable mention in the 70th Basho Memorial English Haiku Contest, arranged in the City of Iga, Japan.
The poems have been personally selected by the famous japanese haiku poet Koko Kato. Winners of the grand prize were two Australian poets Barbara A. Taylor and Janet Howie.

Among those who got honourable mentions were Simon Hanson, Adelaide B. Shaw. Keith A. Simmonds and Susan Burch.

My poem was this one:

passing dragonflies
old friends sit together
in silence

Jag är stolt och väldigt ärad att en av mina haiku fick en honourable mention i den 70e Basho Memorial English Haiku Contest, som organiseras i staden Iga, Japan.
Dikterna har personligen valts ut av den berömde japanske haikupoeten Koko Kato.Vinnare av the grand prize blev två australiensiska poeter Barbara A. Taylor och Janet Howie.

Bland de som fick honourable mentions var Simon Hanson, Adelaide B. Shaw, Keith A. Simmonds och Susan Burch.
